The UltraSpeed™ CO2 laser DOT system is an FDA approved advanced CO2 (carbon dioxide) laser,manufactured in Italy by DEKA, and distributed in the US by DEKA Laser Technologies, LLC, (headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida) exclusively for the practice of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons. The CO2 laser, launched in 1983, is the most common type of laser used for skin resurfacing. The traditional CO2 lasers ablated the entire surface of the skin, resulting in a significant amount of downtime to recover, discomfort for the patient and prolonged redness of the skin. Furthermore, CO2 lasers have had contraindicated use for the treatment of the neck and décolletage due to the risk of potential scarring and the inability to produce the desired outcome.

“DOT Therapy” is taking laser skin resurfacing to an entirely new level. The new technology precisely delivers CO2 laser energy to targeted areas on the face and/or neck.
